The Way of the Boss.

 You have seen that person haven't you? Seen the power, the energy they exude. Could be a celebrity, family member, friend, mentor, etc.. I mean you couldn't miss it even if you wanted to. What makes them so intriguing, so magnetic, so alluring? Their presence is just unique. The type of person you know is in the room and could do whatever the fuck they want.

Let me tell you something, these mfs where not born like that.  They where made into that, forged by fire and steel. But, how? There's a quote in the Rational male that said; "Anxiety, trauma and crisis are a necessary catalysts to stimulate self consciousness." By this you could say that to have a grounded presence, a firm, powerful one. You need thrust yourself into fire, challenge, pressure. Your average joe hates this idea, it contradicts their whole safe & comforted life. But even they can evolve, become better, become magnificent. But then again, how? By thrusting into the fire.

My challenge to you is a simple one; Do something moderately hard for you each day. I say moderately cause I don't want to burn that will muscle to quickly, you're gonna need it.

This could mean;

  • Taking a freezing cold shower.
  • Lifting weights.
  • Going for a walk or run for a couple of kilometers.
  • Getting into a fight, combat sports.
  • Building a network
  • Staring a business.
  • Learning and having the ability to talk and charm anyone
  • Creating something out of nothing
  • Achieve a goal
  • Win
You know yourself, You know what's hard for you. The more intimate the better. Explore your options.

The reason I tell you this, is for the sense of achievement and accomplishment, not only will this be a pillar for your self esteem. But it will also give you a sense of competence.

That's the first commandment of a boss, assuredness. A solid & unparalleled belief in self. This exercise will help you achieve it. Want more info on this? (The Champion Mindset)

   But there's more right? It's not only that they believe and know themselves fully to the extent that they know, they can achieve anything they want. But the fact that they do, they do go for what they want. They are not afraid to take the glory and the prize that is rightfully theirs. They are ruthless, relentless and assertive in the pursuit of whatever they want.

Yes, this is gonna be hard if you are a yes person, or a people pleaser. But hey, that's why we are here. To work.

So like we said let's train that will muscle to be relentless and ruthless in the pursuit of the prize. Most people are scared to be assertive in their everyday life do to the social pressure/norms around them. Let's work on eliminating this shrink in your armor.

First, how do we develop the art of not giving a single cosmic fuck? Easy, by reprograming your brain. By eliminating the subtle inhibitors that are keeping you small.
  • Talk 50% louder than usual. If you think that's a lot talk 80% louder.
  • Stand up like a man, when you walk.
  • Look people in the eyes, and only look to the ground when never.
  • Exercise the words, "No"," Now", "Yes", "Stop", words that lead to action or possible action.
  • Do something outlandish for you personally; change your hairstyle, jump off a cliff into a river, fight a bear.
The more personal the better. This is gonna require you to grow some balls. Think of how bad do you want it. That is the root of  assertiveness, braveness, manliness, strong grounded energy. The ability to manipulate and influence the world around you, through your words and actions. Need an example of what you could do? Mike Tyson manipulated the world around him through his fists and ambition. Martin Luther King Jr. did it through his movements and messages so did Malcom X. Michael Jackson did it through his music. Michael. Jordan by being Michael Jordan and Tupac well yeah. You get the point.

A "no", means a no. A "yes" means a yes.

Now, there's something these dudes had in common right? They where the flyest mfs in the room. Their taste in style, clothing and how to look in any social setting was not only impeccable but unique to their personality. They had the self respect to put their best foot forward.

 That's the third commandment, attractiveness. Now yes attractiveness and attraction works slightly different all over the world. But overall it's the same everywhere. When it comes to physical appearance. The divine laws are the following;
  • Physique: Now I'm not telling you to get a six-pack or a four pack, or muscles from Mount Olympus. But what I do care about is for you to be as healthy as possible. To be at your peak in your physical shape. (A chad's guide to physical peak performance)
  • Grooming: Take care of your skin: Hair Style, Facial hair, body hair/ Manscaping  (if you're a legend). Smelling good/ fragrances/ scents, if you don't know a lot about this go to your nearest supplier and tell him to set you up and fuckers this part is important...take. long. fucking. shower(s).You see the (s)? Yeah, multiple. Also invest in your smile. Clean not only yourself, but also that which you own & space. You can tell a lot about a person for what they have around them.
  • Style: This is a bit more complex, do to it's being all about fit, fabric, occasion, personality, season, color pallets, usefulness . Play around with your options. For both of this points check out; (A gentleman's guide to style & the modern look; Cheating genetics)
  • Behavioral: Most importantly a sense of; charisma, charm, swag, sense of humor, great personality.

Now, because I want to see you win at life. Let me give you a guide on that last point;
  • Charisma: Confident and grounded enthusiasm/passion.
  • Charm: directed attention + tension (Think of it as making the other person feel like they are the center of the world in that moment) Pumping good emotions.
  • Sense of humor: socially calibrated self amusement.
  • Great personality: Engaging// Interesting // Layered.
  • Swag; Embodying your masculine energy.

What is masculine energy? In the words of Julien Blanc and Owen cook with David Deida's input. In addition to my own. Masculine energy is;

  • Purposeful (Do shit on purpose, as the saying goes be on the cause not the effect.)
  • Flowing (Free, uninhibited)
  • Controlled (Assured, grounded, strong & balanced sense of gravity.)
  • Self-Reliant (Independent in your needs / Well feed)
  • Outputting (Giving, exuding,)

Get those testosterone levels in check or beyond average, both behaviorally, nutritionally & in practice. For more info on this check out;

Never the less, all the physical and character based attractive qualities indicate to the monkey part of the human brain, that it's gonna produce successful, strong, capable miniature little Spartans. More so that you have good genes.

Yeah, I know. Being the shit is cool and all but, wanna know my special ingredient for being an undisputed badass? Attention. More specifically your attention. Being attentive to every detail, every time, everywhere. Your attention is not free, nor is it up for grabs by people who people who desperately need it. Your attention is a currency, invest it in long term assets.

You have now stored in your mind, the guide of a Boss. Go and make wonders out of it.

Big love.
